Jesus told a parable about a man who had been cruelly abused and left by the side of the road to die. One man, then another, passed by, saw the man in distress, but did nothing to help. A third man came by, saw the need and mercifully provided for his care. Rather than being indifferent, this man acted. I want to be like the third man, so I'm doing the 5K in the Baltimore Running Festival to raise funds for Helping Up Mission (HUM). HUM is a 750-bed homeless shelter and residential addiction recovery center that helps those who want to transform their lives through the power of faith, science and community. Will you help?
